Abram
Male - American Bulldog
Age 6-8
Good with kids: yes
Good with dogs/cats: YES!!
Abram is an American Bulldog that was turned in to the SEAACA shelter as a stray. He was horribly emaciated, had a very bad upper respiratory infection, and he was covered in fleas and ticks and had an intestinal parasite. In general, his condition was just awful.
We don't know how Abrams life started, if he was truly ever loved and cared for they way every dog deserves to be, what we do know is he was turned into the shelter as a "stray" horribly emaciated. With love, patience, kindness and lots of wholesome food, his body has filled out and his personality and begun to shine. He is a large dog, so will need an home that has experience with large bully breeds. As we know bulldogs can be bulldozers, so we are suggesting a home with older children that he cannot knock down.
Abram would do well with other dogs or as your one and only so he could get all of the love and attention.
If you are interested in welcoming this sweet boy into your home, please complete an adoption application.
He is a dream walker on leash, and only pulls if he sees another dog; however, he takes correction very well. He is the best cuddler and snuggler on the planet and is such a happy, friendly boy.
