Cami found herself at the shelter with a broken leg. The shelter splinted the leg while she awaited adoption. Nobody adopted her. After two weeks, we stepped in and rescued her. We immediately had her evaluated by a specialist. She had surgery to repair the broken leg and it seems the surgery was a success. She is currently on crate rest until she is fully healed and will have bi-weekly x-rays and cast changes.
Despite being in pain from her leg, Cami is just the sweetest dog. She loves the other dogs in the home. She tries to play, but due to her leg situation, we cannot allow that. She snuggles with the other dogs and is just all around great. She is potty trained and crate trained. She rides great in the car as well.
