WORF

Worf was found roaming the grounds of Moorpark College in November.  It’s unclear how long he was there or why he had no collar or tags.  A good Samaritan brought him in to a local veterinarian and unfortunately, the scan revealed that he was not microchipped.   As it happened, I was at that same veterinary hospital when Worf was there.  Because the good Samaritan has three dogs of her own and is continuing to recover from cancer treatment, I offered to foster Worf and try to locate his family.  Attempts to locate his owner were not successful.  
Worf has been in my home and thriving once again.  My daughter and I walk him at the local park and in the neighborhood two to three times a day.  He enjoys his walks, keeping right by one’s side no matter the pace.  He’s learned to sit at every corner we come to, and sometimes I think he’s checking both directions before we cross.  Worf’s intrigued by other dogs and their owners and hopes to play with them in the off-leash area one day.  He’s a scarety-dog when it comes to my three indoor cats and allows them to rule the house and him.  Worf is a people dog and prefers to be in the same room as you, snoozing away on the floor or watching Animal Planet, Sunday Night Football, or the Food Network.   
Worf needs a forever home as both my daughter and I are gone long hours during the day and sometimes overnight as well.  He is approximately two years old, neutered, fully vaccinated, and recently microchipped.  Worf is the name we have given him (ridged forehead like the Star Trek character), but he is open to helping you choose his forever name in his forever home.
