update on TUCKER:Here are some pictures of all the fun Tucker and our
pack have been happening! Tucker is well on his way of being rehabilitated. He has slowly, but surely come to realize that life isn't so scary outside of our house. We have found that if we take him to quieter neighborhoods (i.e. not our very busy working-class neighborhood), Tucker is more relaxed and walks very well on leash. Lately Tucker has experienced the joys of off leash hiking. For the first time in his life, Tucker experienced the joys of chasing rabbits and field mice and he was loving it. Tucker is such an innocent, sweet, little dog, we know just about anyone will fall in love with him! |

update on Tucker:(by hs foster mom Ashley):
Tucker is doing very well in our house. He loves to play with all of our dogs and has become best friends with our youngest dog, Tigger. Tucker shares his toys with the other dogs, and is good at taking treats. His potty training is coming along quite well, and he no longer sleeps in his crate at night. He is much more confident going for walks with our other dogs, but we are working on getting him comfortable walking alone with us. Tucker appears to be most fearful of men in uniform, but is not afraid of strangers at the dog park/beaches. Tucker is a great dog to take to dog parks and beaches. He loves playing with other doggies and he has an AWESOME recall. Tucker is always watching for us when off leash at the parks and always comes when called. Tucker has such a sweet, gentle personality, and loves to cuddle with us and all of the other doggies in our home! |
update on TUCKER(by his foster mommy): Attached are some pictures of Tucker with his new foster family. The little guy is really doing well here. He still has low confidence when it comes to being outside the home, but he is getting
better every day. Tucker's potty training and house manners are coming along quite well
and now that he is starting to relax, we are working on basic obedience commands with him. |

update TUCKER (by his new foster mommy)Tucker is doing really well fitting in with my pack. He is picking up house training quite well, but his house manners might take a couple weeks to develop, as he is quite a mouthy puppy. However, we are working hard with him on "drop" and ..."leave it."
Tigger (5 month old great dane mix puppy) and Tucker are a great match for playtime. We've taken Tucker on a couple walks alone, and he was very skid-dish with the sites and sounds of the city. Last night and this morning we took all the dogs out for a walk, and he had much more confidence walking with "the pack." Somehow, the city isn't so scary when walking with a pack! |
TuckerTucker is a young white boxer with a natural tail. He is about 1 year old. He ...is quite shell shocked about being in a shelter/kennel, and very frightened. It was easy to take pictures of him because he absolutely wouldn't move. He is happy and feels more secure when he is with his confident slightly older buddy, Bo. We will focus on getting this little boy comfortable. He is good with people and other dogs. He is a sweetie!
