Part bulldog, part munchkin! This is our little Trig, saved in the nick of time from the San Bernardino animal shelter. He came in as a stray there on September 18, 2013 and had until September 25th to be saved. No other rescue stepped up but once we looked at that little face we couldn't look away. Another little soul discarded for not being pure bred or just because! |
From the moment Sachi Animal Rescue rescued him, Trig has been the perfect little boy, loving to all 2 legged and 4 legged alike, happy go lucky and always ready for an adventure. Trig was all skin and bones and probably would have starved to death had he remained on the streets for much longer. his coat was coarse, dry and matted due to neglect and poor nutrition. An upper respiratory infection was also contributing to making this poor pup's life miserable. With all of these things going against him, there was life in his
sad, sweet eyes and they cried out for help!.
In October, one of our repeat adopter Nancy came to meet him wanting to foster him until he could find his forever home. He got along great with Nancy's dominant girl, Zoe, formerly SAR Jasmine, who is definitely not the friendliest with other dogs. However Zoe immediately took a liking to our Trig and the two of them have been an amazing pair ever since.
His personality matches his look, he is mischievous, stubborn (well he is part bulldog!) and likes to have a thin blanket over him when he sleeps. Rub his freckled belly and he falls right asleep, snoring and snorting the way only those smooched little faces do!
Nancy noticed that after long walks and playing around with Zoe, Trig would hold his rear leg up as if in pain. Upon visiting our Dr Galea, he diagnosed a patellar dislocation, which can only be remedied with surgery.
Little Trig deserves to live his life to his full potential. He loves to run and play for hours with Zoe but can no longer enjoy the kind of exercise he craves until he gets his much needed surgery.
Please help us help Trig by donating to his medical needs. No amount is too small and Trig will finally be whole and ready for his forever home.

TRIG

With his pink, pig nose and fly-away ears, Trig is a unique looking little guy. Probably Bulldog, Boxer and who knows what, this youngster would be a great starter dog for any family. He probably won't weigh much more than 40 lbs at his maximum. Trig has been a perfect gentleman when meeting other dogs and is a real charmer with people too. Send in your applications soon so you don't miss out on this one if a kind pup!
