SHERMANSherman is an adorable approximately five months old Rhodesian Ridgeback, possibly mixed with German Shepherd, although he could be a ridge less ridgeback. What we know is he is adorable and will be large. He was found as a stray in San Bernardino and weighing only four and a half pounds with a very large hernia in his abdomen that once repaired, he started to grow! He weighs approximately40 pounds and could reach a grown weight of 85 pounds or more. He is fawn in color with a black muzzle and short hair. He is neutered and up to date on shots. He is very loving, super sweet, loves to cuddle and is an all around really good puppy. He loves to play with the other dogs. He is crate trained, almost completely house trained and is in a home with small dogs, large dogs, kids and a cat. He will be large and muscular and will require a lot of exercise throughout his life. He will be a devoted family member and would love to be right by your side! This breed requires positive, reward-based training, good socialization and consistency; it is often not the best choice for inexperienced dog owners. He will also require socialization throughout his life.

SHERMANToday Sherman became the smallest boxer Sachi Animal Rescue will ever have! He looks like a boxer, acts like a boxer...but he's a Pug/Chi?! Yes, the vet says our sweet Sherman is 12 weeks not 6 or 8 and low and behold...he's a Pug/Chi mix as his best determination. Well, he's still getting the extra nutrients his little body needs and all the extra love any puppy this little deserves. He wags his tail like crazy at all the other dogs and wants to be with them so bad, but he has to stay quiet and safe until surgery. So there is a lot of holding him and loving on him. He is a total sweetheart, even though he is sticking his tongue out at you! He will have an X-ray on Monday and surgery next week to correct his nasty hernia. Thank you Sachi for helping ALL dogs, especially this little boxer wanna be!
