MAX & SASHAThey are 8 yr old siblings and were dumped at a shelter because their family could not take them to the new place. Both are absolute wonderful dogs, very pleasant, playful, and entertaining. Max & Sasha are in a foster home. Great with kids!
BOTH WILL HAVE TO STAY TOGETHER! |

update by their foster mommy:
Max-... or Hank, or Bo. LOL!!! My husband calls him all sorts of names which cracks me up and doesn't seem to phase Max at all. Max gets grouchy towards the other dogs sometimes so we call him "mad Max". Then at most times he's this big silly lug of a hound dog which we call Hank. And Bo, well, I'm not sure why he calls him Bo. lol
Maxers is a funny guy, always wagging, loves attention, calm and sweet. Trying soooooo hard to fatten him up! He hates his crate but because he does have his hateful Mad Max moments we kennel him when we're gone just in case. He has been going with me to take my son to school which he looooooooves car rides and feels like a king! Had another bath tonight which he loved of course. One thing's for sure he is grateful for everything we do for him. He shows how happy he is. It's humbling really. I mean he just lays and sighs on the couch all sprawled out like he's never been happier. He seems to like strangers but does alert me someone pulls in the driveway or something. He does hate my neighbors dogs which is funny because they used to bark at us all the time...not so much anymore lol. He has a knot in his throat that bothers me, I think it might be his lymph node, has me a little worried. He eats separately from the pack until I feel that he isn't ravenous and is totally used to my dogs and whatnot. He's not aggressive with treats or bones which is awesome!!!! He's a great dog. Still some potty issues, I'm guessing he was an outside dog. But it's ok we're working on it, and it will go fine as he adores me and takes my direction very well. I sure love him.
Sasha oh Sasha oh Sasha...and friends. Her first few days she was so in pain and anxious we thought her loopy. But she has healed up nicely and with lots of love and pain meds later she has turned out to be quite a nice sweet calm lady. She loves toys. No really...she loooooooves toys. She does not play with them but she carries them around, she cleans them and she always knows where she left one. She cleans my other dogs as well. And my son. She was clearly a momma, like alot of times. It's the cutest and the saddest thing you've ever seen. She has a huge heart and the most pitiful caring eyes. Gave her a bath for the first time tonight since we got her. She loved it. She even enjoyed the hair dryer too! She has really come a long way, I think she's settled in quite nicely actually. I am looking forward to taking her on some walks just her and I to bond some, I have been limiting her activity since she appeared to be in pain last week. The bath helped us bond as well, I think she really appreciated it. She likes being groomed and I love brushing her and maybe she'll let me paint her toe nails before her adoption event this weekend! Speaking of they both need new collars to fit their personalities! I shall go this week!
