Let me be the first to sign the guest book and open up the pages to our many friends, fans and supporters. None of this would have been possible without the love and support of my fantastic compadres, Martina, Dennis, Jackie, Rand, Cat, Katherine and Andrea. I cherish every single one of you. Raphaele

I really love the website - what an awesome job Martina has done! The photos are great and capture the candid moments in such a way that you can imagine that you are there having fun with the dogs, or even better, what it might be like to take that one special dog home with you forever.

I have rarely in my life seen such heart-filled commitment as I do with the Sachi Rescue team. They just won't give up on the animals, no matter the challenge. My rescue dog Daisy goes crazy with excitement every time she see Kathy or Jim Combs.

Thanks for everything. You inspire me.

Sachi Animal Rescue is a wonderful rescue organization staffed by kind, hard working and devoted volunteers who work tirelessly to help improve the lives of needy animals. Choosing the path to save animals from conditions some would prefer not to see nor even know about is not an easy way to go through life. I am so impressed with these committed people who are determined to help out deserving animals who would not otherwise have a chance at lives and homes!

I'm enjoying looking through the website - very nicely done. I am so thankful to have found Sachi through "the rescue network". Because of this a young Boxer named Cinder will soon travel from Oregon to California, have some needed surgery and find out how wonderful the "Boxer-Eccentric-Folks-At-Large" truly are. I have spoken with Yoshika and offered to help in my area - Gilroy.

You have saved so many of the doggies I photographed at the shelters.. I cannot thank you enough for stepping up and giving those precious souls a 2nd chance.. I love boxers, they are the most loving, beautiful, wonderful doggies I have known.. My Bud and Miley are my precious babies.. I love them dearly..when I see a boxer in a shelter it breaks my heart, I cannot stand to see any doggie in the shelter, but boxers are my special love.. It was wonderful finding the Sachi website via Petfinder. What lovely dogs you have at your rescue organization. While my husband and I are not ready yet to adopt a second dog, we will definitely be in touch in the future. It was lovely speaking with Raphaele and hearing how Sachi came to be. Also I must comment on such a beautiful website! So easy to navigate. I will check in often to keep up to date on the latest from Sachi. All my best to wonderful people. Much love, lisa

Just wanted to update all on Landon's progress. When Raphaele and Carrie brought this little snuggle bratt into our home, we were looking for a pet that would get along with our other Boxer ("Robert Argyle Sox")who is very docile and submissive and who was terrorized by a foster pet we were taking care of briefly. Landon and Robert are getting along wonderfully and I am thrilled. Landon is definitely strong willed about learning manners, but all in all, he is doing quite well (the tips in the handbook added to my 40+ years raising fuzzy "kids" and gave me a few new techniques - Thanks).

I will send new pix as soon as I figure out how to download them from my new camera.

Hubby is happy not to be Robert's primary playmate any more, and its wonderful to watch the furry ones play in the sprinklers (not so much with the muddy paws on the bed, but there is a pricetag for everything).

Thanks again for all you have done to save these "challenging" critters.

This is a great web site and a great rescue. I have only been a foster for them for about 6mo or so but it is so much fun and work but mostly fun and I get to help save some precious babies. I would recomend people do fostering this helps the dogs and brings joy to your life. This rescue works with you and helps you to make it a enjoyable experience. Keep up the great work.

Just wanted to say Thank You to everyone who helps all these rescue pups! Lily has been a great addition to our family and Hurley is doing so good with her. We've named her Zoey and she has put on weight and is learning some manners (she needs lots more work)!! She has adapted so easily into our home and has blessed us in so many ways already! Shes a great cuddle buddy, playmate and companion to us all. She is our first rescue but I can guarantee she won't be our last. Merry Christmas to you all!

hi raphaelle. We love Buster (Prince William) more than we thought it was possible. What a good sweet animal, and how horrible it is to imagine him wandering the streets of Riverside unloved. He met another Sachi dog today at the off-leash park in SF and the two of them had an absolutely smashing time. Thanks for the great work you are doing to save these wonderful creatures!

Oh, I just love how much you care for, rescue, and love my most beloved breed--the boxer.

I sent in a full application for Little Miss Haley, but she found a wonderful home with children.

I've just seen MAX III who was rescued on Feb. 16, 2012.

Could you let me know if he has a home? We would love a home visit soon so we could be a home for a precious boxer.

Could you please look up our application. Our most precious Hayden Taylor passed away on August 28, 2011. He and I were a therapy team, and I'm hoping to bring another boxer into our home and perhaps the Pet Therapy team if he or she is the right fit. If not, he or she will have the most loving Mom and Dad in Marg and Larry.

Please give us a chance.

Marg & Larry Taylor

Hi Sachi! We recently adopted Riley and Raphaelle- you were right- He is the BEST dog and exactly what we wanted. He is a love, always ready to give a hug and lots of kisses. His most favorite thing to do is to pounce on my daughter in the morning and wake her up with kisses- lots of them. He is becoming quite well-known up here in our town. People walk up to him and immediately fall in love, and the words "he is sooo cute" are a daily thing. We love him so much and are so thankful for you guys and what you do. We waited a long time for a dog and he is perfect. Thank you!!!

I have always loved boxers and now I want to take the leap and have my very own. All the information you provide on your website is so helpful and exciting. The essays by Katherine and Denise are especially heartwarming and I love everyone's photos, which keep pulling me further toward the big day! Suzanne has posted some amazing photos, but unfortunately half of them can't be enlarged for viewing and they are only postage stamp size. Would sure love to see them all as well as you can see all the others posted here. But thank you all for posting your photos and success stories. I hope to post my own soon!

Thank you Sachi Rescue for the most wonderful boxer, Felicia, aka Sachi. It is so unbelievable that someone could ever give up this most loveable puppy. Her long tongue hanging out the side of her adds to her character. Thank you Raphaele for not letting me give up on her and I did fall in love with her. Thanks for all you and your team do.

Greetings, I've been meaning to post a comment to this website for a long time and I finally quit procrastinating. I wanted to update the Sachi staff on a dog we adopted from them. In January of 2012, we adopted a sweet, but very sick "Justin." He has turned out to be the best, sweetest, most awesome family dog ever. We changed his name to "Scooter" and he and his boxer brother, Duke, are absolutely inseparable. Scooter is healthy, happy, and loves his forever home.

My family and I love our boxers and thank you for letting us adopt Scooter.

This email should have been done a long time ago. We adopted Dozer in 2011 and is on your archive page. He was the perfect addition to our family. He immediately bonded with our kids and became a regular participant in the nightly bed time routine of sitting with each child for a few minutes. Dozer and Belle have also become the best of friends who play and snuggle daily. Thank you.

I wanted to give the Sachi Rescue an update on who they called Annie. We call her Roxie and she is a gem. She loves her buddy Homer they play together and homer loves to snuggle with her and gives her lots of kisses. They are really good about telling time in the evening for walk time just after dinner. she gets very excited and jumps around like popcorn popping. She listens very well and is always on her best behavior a real lady.Roxie is a fantastic addition to the family and we love her very much and she is very spoiled. thank you Sachi for helping us find her, she is the perfect addition to the family. Just wanted to thank everyone yesterday at the adoption in San Jose. We were fortunate to find Ryan, who now goes by the name of Gunner. Gunner has warmed up nicely and is enjoying his forever home. He went on his first walk with us last night and by the time we were halfway through he stayed right by my hip. He loves his new sister (Sammie), and the rest of his human family. He stays by my side wherever I go, and when we aren't doing anything he sleeps right by my feet. Gunner is safe, and will become a great dog and addition to this family. Thank you all again!! We love him already!!!!
