Dina is a two year old Boxer Shepherd mix who came to us because her owner was moving to an apartment that did not allow dogs. She is a shy girl. however as we see her come out of her shell we see a lovely personality. Ideally, Dina would love to be in a home with at least one other dog.
She loves her walks and gets very excited to see bunnies, birds and other doggie friends! She and her foster bro Mac are having a blast playing. She is respectful of her older foster siblings who are not interested in her puppy play. She is super gentle when taking treats from you and is respectful of the other dogs treats and food. Dina is not only spunky and fun, but she's smart too! She knows come, sit and down. Dina sleeps through the night and likes to snuggle in with her foster siblings. She has met the cat (who is not a fan), but she is respectful of his space and listens when directed to give him leave him be.
She is apprehensive of meeting new people and will bark; however, we have been practicing the no touch, no talk, no eye contact method with all the people Dina meets. As long as she is offered the opportunity to sniff the new person before they try to touch her it seems to be ok in Dina's book.
