Permanent foster needed asap for terminal CRUZ
SACHI's Cruz has the heavenly eyes of an angel and the good looks of a boxer super-model. His outward perfection is unfortunately a stark contrast to the myriad of issues that lurk beneath. Cruz came to SACHI Animal Rescue at the golden age of 9 years old. He was found as a stray and taken to the Castaic Shelter. While at the shelter Cruz made friends, two and four legged ones. He definitely found an angel with Lynda Hill. She contacted SACHI and pleaded for help. Lynda spent time with Cruz and even behind those horrible shelter walls he was a love bug. He never wanted to leave her side and wanted to always be near her. He was always a happy boy and was referred to as Mr. Wiggle Butt.
SACHI stepped up and rescued Cruz. He has been an amazing little man. He walks great on leash, gets along with other dogs and loves people. He's a great kisser as well. Unfortunately Cruz came with a problem. He has a large tumor in his rectal area. It's inoperable and terminal. He has had this tumor for a very long time. We at SACHI are heartbroken with the news. We expected to get this tumor removed and get him adopted to the best family. Now we are in desperate need of a permanent foster. While Cruz's longevity is doubtful, one thing is definite: we are searching for a foster where he can live out the remainder of his time; a home that can offer Cruz a level of stability and comfort that he didn't feel in his previous home. We don't know how much time he has with us. Every second, minute, hour and day he is with us is a blessing. Please help us find a home where he can live out his days with dignity and love. |
