update by her foster mommy

Jennifer Midkiff Walters
Blanca Update: she had a good first night. For dinner she decided to eat her dinner and Cali's and some of Cash's. So now we will be eating separate lol. She loves to cuddle and wants to sleep in the bed but we
have a no dog on the furniture rule so as long as she is in your walking path when she sleeps she is good. She was a little nervous when we went to bed and turned out all the lights. She we all slept with a night light and she was fast asleep. She only got up once in the night but went right back to sleep. No accidents and woke up and did business outside then came right back in to go back to bed!
updateBLANCA has moved into a foster home with
volunteer Jennifer! Looks like she is having a wonderful time. Check out her video with her new foster siblings: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sachi-Animal-Rescue/111242175570167#!/photo.php?v=10150518832244433 |

BLANCABlanca is just a baby at about 8 months old. She
is a beautiful and sweet white female with one blue eye and one brown eye. Like 20% of white boxers, Blanca is deaf. She is a good girl and she can be trained with hand commands. She loves human attention and gives the wiggle when she sees someone. She needs to be spayed and a full evaluation. |
BLANCAAt only 8 month old or so, little BLANCA (formerly known as SUGAR) had experienced trauma of the worst kind. Disregarded by a human she trusted, she was put in a high-kill shelter after she was found wandering the streets.
The noise, the smells, the cold concrete ... she did not know what she has done wrong. Christy pulled her today from Baldwin Park shelter and has ensured her that her sad past was just a bad dream and from today on, the future will be bright. Blanca is a very pretty girl with her blue and brown eyes. |

This is what the Baldwin Shelter said about Blanca (formerly known as SUGAR):
A4366988 Sugar is a fabulous eight month old deaf white female Boxer
puppy who was found as a stray on November 19th and brought to the Baldwin Park
shelter. Weighing forty-five pounds this high-energy girl with one blue, and
one brown, eye walks okay on leash but needs some training. Sugar enjoys
children, but is a bit dog selective. Sugar will make a fantastic indoor pet
for an active family living in a private home.
