UPDATE - ADOPTED!

Archibald "Archie" came to Sachi Animal Rescue on October 26, 2014, from the Devore shelter. He was a broken, abused little guy who couldn't trust a human hand. From what we could gather from his past he had been used as bait in dog fights and used as a punching bag by severely demented men. One look at his eyes and we knew we had to help him. Over the past few months all our incredible and dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly to socialize him and build his confidence and trust. Archie went from a scared distrustful little boy to a happy go lucky, loving and social one. His story with Sachi ended on Saturday January 3rd, when the most wonderful couple came to meet him and fell in love instantly. His life will now be filled with love, compassion and stability. Farrah and Rich plan on introducing him to the Southern California lifestyle, including discovering and conquering the ocean. And we are all planning on visiting with them periodically and keep you all updated on this little miracle boy. 

ARCHIBALD

Archibald was so shy and skittish when we first met him that we weren't sure if he would come around. Just a few weeks later and our boy Archie has come out of his shell. He's opened up to all of the Sachi volunteers and is an absolute love-bug with his favorites! he's good with other dogs and is getting much more comfortable when meeting new people. 
Archibald is a sensitive, highly intelligent Boxer mix who would do well in a home with an understanding family.
Wouldn't we all? He's turning out to be an athletic, and playful kid. He just needed some time to settle down and to be shown that there are people in the world who are nice and mean him no harm. The sky is the limit for Mr Archie!
